The NON EU students who do an internship and need to renew their residency card are required to provide the Immigartion Office- SIS a copy of their 鈥淐onvention de Stage鈥� to justify their plans and request.

The first step to obtain a 鈥淐onvention de Stage鈥澨齣s to submit an internship registration form (once the student receives an internship offer).

The 鈥淐onvention de Stage鈥� will be issued to the student accordingly.

If you decide to move to another address and you hold a valid residency card (VLS-TS, 搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅, Titre de S茅jour):

1. You cannot have your new address added on your current residency card;

2. you must听start a NEW residency application听in order听to update the French Authorities about your NEW Address.

How to process:

A. Contact SIS to inform them you have moved to another place;

B. Book an appointment with SIS to start a new application;

C. Gather the necessary housing justifications to update your situation and to complete the application;

D. In addition, you must submit a copy of your valid passport, a copy of your current residency card (VLS-TS, 搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅, Titre de S茅jour), 4 pictures (French passport-size), a copy of your birth certificate (VLS-TS), a bank certificate (Attestation de solde bancaire)

E. Once complete, the residency application will be submitted to the French Authorities in order to be processed and听to officialize the new address.

NB.听The validity of the听Titre de S茅jour听is听upon the decision of the French Authorities

SIS and the University have no visibility regarding the validity of the听Titre de S茅jour听.听SIS has no control/ authorization to appeal against the French Authorities' decision.

3) Under 18 residency procedure

• - "搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅" (temporary residency card):听FREE

• More than one-year听Titre de S茅jour:听鈧� 79,00
• Return Visa听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听: 鈧�6,00听(issued by the Pr茅fecture de Police- Salle des Visas- Ile de La Cit茅- 75001 Paris)

NB.听The听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听is issued to the NON EU students who turned 18, and have been issued a first request-搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅. It authorizes them to legally return France from travelling abroad.

The NON EU students must show the borders a valid passport, a valid听搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅, and a valid听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听when they re-enter France

4) Late residency renewal fees

• 鈧� 180,00:听LATE听renewal request submitted听from one day to three months听after the previous residency card expired听("Titre de S茅jour")
• 鈧� 417,00:听LATE听renewal request submitted from the fourth month after听the previous residency card expired听("Titre de S茅jour")

NB.听The students are requested听to wait until the French Authorities鈥� decision is made and they are confirmed听to buy the set of tax stamps.

If you lose/ you are stolen your passport-听How to process:

• Urgently contact SIS by email to inform you lost/ you have been stolen your passport (sisaup.edu听)

• Immediately go to the Commissariat du 7猫me- 9, Rue Fabert- 75007 Paris in order to declare that you lost/ you have been stolen your passport.听You will be issued a receipt (=R茅c茅pisss茅 de d茅claration de perte ou de vol de pi猫ce d鈥檌dentit茅)-听/sites/default/files/download/student-life/support/student-immigration-services/aup_lost_stolen_document_declaration.pdf

• Send SIS by email a copy of the receipt in order to update your records
• Immediately contact your country Embassy/ Consulate in Paris in order to request a NEW passport;
• Send SIS by email a copy of your new passport once you have it.

If you lose/ you are stolen your passport听(with your student visa inserted听and听you are not done yet with the OFII)听-听How to process:

• Urgently contact SIS by email (sisaup.edu听) to inform you lost / you have been stolen your passport (with the student visa inserted)

• Immediately go to the Commissariat du 7猫me- 9, Rue Fabert- 75007 Paris in order to declare that you lost/ you have been stolen your passport and the student visa.听You will be issued a receipt (=听R茅c茅pisss茅 de d茅claration de perte ou de vol de pi猫ce d鈥檌dentit茅)-听/sites/default/files/download/student-life/support/student-immigration-services/aup_lost_stolen_document_declaration.pdf

• Send SIS by email a copy of the receipt in order to update your records
• Immediately contact your country Embassy/ Consulate in Paris in order to request a NEW passport听

• Send SIS by email a copy of your new passport once you have it in order to complete the residency application

  • Then, the student will be issued a听Titre de S茅jour

• Between the day the student applies for a new residency card and the day it is issued, they must remain in France as they are not authorized to travel abroad
• SIS cannot guarantee how long the residency procedure can take
• The policy is very strict: if a student wants to travel abroad after they received their first request- 搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅, they must apply for a Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral.听It is mandatory.

This visa, once issued, authorizes them to legally return France from travelling abroad.

• When re-entering France from abroad, the student must show the borders a valid passport, a valid听搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅, and a valid听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral

Information about the听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral

The听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听is issued to the NON EU students听who have been issued a first request-搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅-听搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅 Premi猫re Demande.

This includes the NON-EU students who turned 18 and had to go through a residency application with SIS after being issued either a visa for Minor (Mineur scolaris茅) or a long stay student visa for under 18.

Same with the NON-EU students who used to hold a MAE card (diplomatic card issued by the French Foreign Affairs-听Minist猫re des Affaires Etrang猫res), had to do a residency application with SIS since they gave French Authorities their card back (because they turned 18).

听

In addition to the听R茅cepiss茅 Premi猫re Demande, the听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听authorizes the NON-EU to legally return France from travelling abroad.

The NON EU students must show the French borders:

• a more than 6 months鈥� valid passport,
• a valid听搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅听Premi猫re Demande,
• a valid听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral

Procedure to apply for a听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral

Must be started at least 10 days before travelling abroad.

IMPORTANT

Once the student is granted the听Visa de Retour Pr茅fectoral听by听the French Authorities, they must immediately send SIS a copy at听sisaup.edubefore they leave France, in order to update the residency procedure.

Since it may be a bit confusing for the NON-EU students to make a difference between a听R茅cepiss茅 Premi猫re Demande听and a听搁茅肠茅辫颈蝉蝉茅听(issued for a residency renewal), the students should feel free to contact SIS at听sisaup.edu听to clarify their situation.
